Aspire Estates ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it, in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are
Aspire Estates is an estate agency based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, covering Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford, Wakefield and the wider Yorkshire area. For any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@aspireestates.uk or on 0113 887 5079.
The information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, or that's needed to run our website. This may include:
- Contact and enquiry details — your name, email address, phone number, property postcode, and anything you tell us when you use our contact form, book a valuation, register your interest, or send us a message through our chat assistant.
- Message content — the details of any enquiry or conversation you send us.
- Technical information — basic, non-identifying data your browser sends automatically (such as device type), used to keep the site working and secure.
How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry, arrange a valuation or viewing, and provide the services you've asked for;
- keep in touch with you about your enquiry or a transaction you're involved in;
- operate, maintain and improve our website.
Our lawful bases for doing this are your consent (which you give when you submit an enquiry), our legitimate interests in responding to and managing enquiries, and, where a transaction proceeds, the performance of a contract with you.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our website and manage enquiries, and your information may be processed by them on our behalf:
- Street — the property software (CRM) where we manage enquiries and properties.
- Resend — the service that emails your enquiry to our team.
- Anthropic — the provider of the AI that powers our "Ask Aspire" chat assistant; messages you type into the chat are processed to generate a reply.
- Netlify — the platform that hosts this website.
- Google Maps — used to display a map on our contact page.
We may also share information where we're legally required to, for example to comply with anti-money-laundering obligations or a lawful request from an authority.
How long we keep it
We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it — to deal with your enquiry, to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get back in touch. When we no longer need it, we securely delete it.
Cookies
This website uses only the minimum storage needed to function — for example, remembering that our intro animation has played during your visit. Third-party features such as the embedded Google Map may set their own cookies. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate;
- ask us to delete your information, or restrict how we use it;
- object to us using your information, or withdraw your consent at any time;
- ask us to transfer your information to another provider.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@aspireestates.uk. There's normally no charge, and we'll respond within one month.
Complaints
We'd always rather you came to us first so we can put things right. But you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
